The Realisation

Maybe i am a bitch,
Maybe i am a heartless, heartbreaking, ice cold bitch,
Or maybe, just maybe,
I came to my senses,
I knew how i felt,
Couldn't hide it under the carpet,
Couldn't ignore it,
It was staring me in the face with its loveless eyes,
It was turning cold,
It was disappearing before my eyes,
I watched as it evaporated into nothing,
Hardest part was realising,
Was just figuring it out,
Then having to tell him what i had just learnt,
What was not there for so many months,
But now,
Now i can be,
Me.
